Constraints
The first constraint that I will have to deal with is Time. To minimise the effect this to constraint I must make sure that I follow my plan that I set out bellow and make sure that my games should be able to be completed in the timeframe given.
I should be aware of my strengths and weakness when designing this project so that it is not over ambitious for me. As a over ambitious project were, I don’t take into account the level of my sills could result in me getting stuck at various parts in the project.
I should keep into account that I will have only have access to virtual reality headsets when I am in college. This means that I will have a limited ability to test my game while I am home.
Planned Activities

Planning and designing
In This stage I will be designing the game play and menus of the game and doing research into what chemicals I could get the user to create.
Basic level creation
Create the most essential 3D models such as test tube and beakers and set the basic layout of the scene.
Important mechanic programming
This will be where I will set out the most time for as it is the most important. For this step to be complete I must have a game that fulfils what I write in the overview.
Individual tasks
The first that I will have to add to my game is the basic VR functionality. This will include adding the SDK that I am going to use and then give the player the ability looks around with the VR headset, pick objects up and move around by using the controllers
Next, I will add the core mechanic that my game is going to revolve around which is giving the player the ability to mix 2 different liquids to create a new one. Ideally, I wold like to have the liquid pure like how it would in real life, but I do not know how to do this at the moment.
I will add a tutorial mode that have screen in front of the plyer that will tell them how each of the liquids mix into each other.
Finally I will add a quiz mode were the player will be questioned to create different liquids, once complete the player will be given a A,B,C,D rank.
menu creation
I will need to create a main menu that will have a sub menu for selecting which of the modes the player can choose from.
I will create the games pause menu next that will allow the player to go back to the main menu during gameplay.
Final level creation
Polish up my game by adding more models and creating textures to make my game more visually appealing.
any extra mechanics
If I find that I have some time at the end of my project I will create any extra mechanics that I think off to add more depth to my game.
How I will know that my project is successful
I hope to create a project that will be able to effectively educate its users by utilising the advantages that head mounted displayed virtual reality provides. To measure weather my project is successful I will be creating A small survey were the players can tell me if they enjoyed my game and if they think that they prefer my game over regular teacher led learning

The above screenshot shows a room that the player will be mixing liquids. It will be a small room which will have a Test tube in the table that is in front of the player. This is were the player will have to pour the liquids into. either side of the player are two easily accessible shelve that will have all the beakers that have all of the liquids that can be mixed.

Behind the table with the Test tube on there will be a whiteboard that I will have UI elements on. This is where I will put instructions on how to create a liquid in the learning mode. In the test mode this is where I will display the questions. Thus, UI will have interactive elements that will allow the user to skip between questions.
